An absolute cracker of a game today! After being put into bat, the Black Caps put on a batting masterclass, posting our highest-ever score of 149/3!

The Batting Blitz
- Jack & Artie got us off to a flyer, treating the Guildford bowling with utter disdain. Smart singles (which were excellent today across all the batsmen) and boundary-bashing galore.
- Jack cruised to a rapid 30 before retiring. Those extra 1-1 sessions are clearly paying dividends - well done!
- Artie kept the pressure on with a delightful, hard-hitting 24.
- Felix stepped up next and unleashed chaos, smashing a quickfire 30 including a cheeky ramp shot for 4! Bazball has officially reached the U11s.
- A couple of quick wickets gave us a brief stutter, but William & Seb anchored the death overs beautifully to see us finish on that record-breaking 149/3.

The Chase & The Chaos
- Otto & Felix opened the bowling, ripping through the top order to leave Guildford reeling at 21-2.
- Guildford fought back with a strong partnership to reach 100, but they were always chasing ghosts thanks to some incredibly tight bowling, particularly from William, and Artie doing great work behind the stumps.

Room for Improvement: While the bowling was tight, the fielding was... let's call it "generous." An uncharacteristically sloppy display of overthrows and misfields kept things interesting. Definitely something to focus on Friday!

Guildford finished on 116 off their 20 overs. A strong win against a tough side. Well done, boys.
