The Bowling & Fielding
Farnham won the toss and bowled. Opening pairs Otto & Felix and Seb & Will ripped through the top order to leave Cranleigh 17-4. Brilliant pressure led to two sharp run-outs (by Jack and Seb) to make it 36-6. Jack and Edmund cleaned up the tail to bowl Cranleigh out for 81. Special mention to Ara for setting a superb tone behind the stumps!

The Chase
A tough start against good bowling (and generous umpiring) saw us at 2-2, then 16-3. Edmund (21*) and Ara (17) steadied the ship beautifully. Luka (10) kept the momentum going—before falling to an absolute worldie of a jumping, left-handed catch—and Felix (10*) helped guide us home to 82-5 with 4.5 overs to spare.

Coach’s Notes
Cranleigh won the league last year and beat us twice, so this convincing win is a big statement and sets us nicely for the season ahead! Team spirit and encouragement were fantastic. A huge welcome to Arlo, who made his debut today—great to have you with us!
